There are 10 fascinating clips to enjoy in Gorillas Revisited, filmed in 2006, by the BBC Natural History Unit. We see Sigourney Weaver revisit the mountain gorillas in Rwanda 20 years after filming the fascinating, Oscar-nominated movie, Gorillas in the Mist: The Story of Dian Fossey.

Clip 2: Watch Sigourney Weaver visiting an animal sanctuary for mountain gorillas to take part in a psychological study designed to help a baby mountain gorilla, now in captivity, recover from trauma.

Clip 3: Shows Sigourney Weaver as she sets out to destroy the snares set by locals to trap wild animals, but which also catch the gorillas, an unintended target.

Clip 4: Sigourney Weaver familiarises herself with some of the gorillas she first met eight years ago while making Gorillas in the Mist and that can be recognised through their unique nose prints.

Clip 5: Watch this fight in the wild as Sigourney Weaver takes two students into the jungle and walks straight into the middle of a gorilla confrontation.

Clip 6: Sees Sigourney Weaver learning about the good gorilla manners that help to make the apes feel at ease with humans.

Clip 7: Sir David Attenborough and the camera crew recall the terrifying circumstances that led to the Rwandan army shoot-out and the entire group of animal enthusiasts being imprisoned in an army camp.

Clip 8: Bill Weber and Sir David Attenborough discuss the uphill struggle in setting up the Mountain Gorilla Project, started in 1979. Bill explains how he set out to get the locals in Rwanda to understand and accept the importance of the project.

Clip 9: Focuses on the shocking aftermath of the Rwandan war by the BBC camera crew sent back to the country just days after the end of the conflict.

Clip 10: Shows fascinating footage of Sir David being surrounded by a host of cute baby gorillas.
