Tim Martin is currently an Editor at the BBC Natural History Unit. After studying for a degree in zoology at Oxford University, he decided to follow his passion by working in television production. He joined the BBC Natural History Unit in 1995 and has gone on to produce a number of highly acclaimed wildlife series for the BBC including Tales from the Riverbank and Violent Planet.

His career progressed to the position of Series Editor of the Natural World by 2004, which includes the moving Battle to Save the Tiger. He then went on to be Executive Producer of the NHU’s expeditions department, responsible for the amazing Amazon Abyss, Expedition Borneo and Pacific Abyss in 2008.
